make your own plugin for firefox
hi guys have u ever wondered how to search a website that does no have a search box for itself??!!
its very simple u would be shocked to listen that it would just take 5 min for u to have such a feature in ur browser .all u need to do is to follow the steps given below
1)set ur default search engine as "google"
2)now open the directory C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins
3)create a new text file using notepad paste the following code
< search
name="kaushiksearch"
method="GET"
action="http://www.google.com/search"
querycharset="utf-8">
< input name="q" user >
< input name="sitesearch" value="www.chitramala.com">
< /search>
5)now restart the firefox
6)go to the firefox's search engine (shortcut ctrl -k) set ur default as kaushiksearchengine
7)u r now done with ur search site feature and can very easily search ur favorite websites
note :
kaushiksearchengine and http://kaushiksjce.blogspot.com/ can be changed depending on the site which u r searching from the firefox search bar
-If you like to see a nice icon next to the search name, add a 16x16 gif file with exactly the same name in the same location where you placed the kse.src file.
